Moving flat within Barcelona doesn’t have to cost €600. With a hire van you collect it yourself, load at your own pace and pay only for the days you actually need it.

If you’re torn between two sizes, take the bigger one. A second trip costs you more time, more fuel and more parking than the difference in the daily rate.
Low Emission Zone. Barcelona’s Low Emission Zone (ZBE Rondas) covers almost the entire city on weekdays from 7am to 8pm, and non-compliant vehicles are fined automatically by camera. Our whole fleet is compliant and registered, so you can drive in without worrying about emissions stickers.
Loading and unloading. In the Eixample and Gràcia, the blue-and-white loading bays (càrrega i descàrrega) are usually limited to 30 minutes. It pays to carry everything down to the street door first and then move the van, and to leave someone keeping an eye on the vehicle.
Narrow streets. If you’re moving into the Gòtic, El Born or Gràcia, measure the access before you book the large cargo van: there are streets a high-roof van simply won’t fit down. Send us the address on WhatsApp and we’ll tell you which size will make it.
Timing. Saturday morning is the worst possible time to load in the city centre. Early on a weekday you’ll get it done far faster.
No. All our cargo vans are driven on a standard category B licence. You need to be 21 years old with 2 years’ licence held. Drivers aged 21–24, and 70–85, pay a €25/day surcharge. EU and EEA licences are valid in Spain exactly as they are, with nothing extra to arrange. If your licence was issued outside the EU/EEA, get in touch before booking and we’ll confirm what you need for your specific case.
Yes, we do hourly hire as well as daily. For a move within the city it’s usually the cheaper option.
Yes, it’s taken by card on the day of collection and released once we’ve checked the vehicle over. The amount depends on the vehicle and the cover you choose — the standard deductible on vans is €2,500, or €800 with the Deductible Reduction.
