When hourly hire makes sense

  • A big shop at IKEA, Leroy Merlin or Bauhaus. Drive out, load up and come back — half a day covers it comfortably.
  • Wallapop and second-hand finds. Picking up the wardrobe or washing machine that won’t fit in a car.
  • Clearing a storage unit or a commercial space. Two or three short runs within the city.
  • A one-off job. A delivery, an installation, materials for a small building job.
  • Moving one room. When you’re switching flatshares and haven’t got any large furniture.

Past roughly five or six hours of use, a full day usually works out better. Message us on WhatsApp with what you need to move and we’ll tell you which option is cheaper for you — even when that’s the cheaper one for us.

Two Barcelona things to know before you book

Low Emission Zone. Barcelona’s Low Emission Zone (ZBE Rondas) is active on weekdays from 7am to 8pm and covers almost the whole city, with camera enforcement and automatic fines for non-compliant vehicles. Our fleet is compliant and registered, so emissions stickers are one thing you don’t have to think about.

Where to stop and load. The loading bays (càrrega i descàrrega) in the Eixample are usually limited to 30 minutes. If you’ll be longer than that, find a car park: it’ll cost you less than the fine.

What’s the minimum number of hours?

It depends on the vehicle and the time slot. Check availability for your date or message us and we’ll confirm straight away.

Can I return it outside office hours?

Yes. As well as office hours at Villarroel 58, we offer 24/7 collection and return from a private car park.

What licence do I need?

A category B licence, held for at least 2 years, and you must be 21 or over. Drivers aged 21–24, and 70–85, pay a €25/day surcharge. EU and EEA licences are valid in Spain as they are — nothing extra to arrange. If your licence was issued outside the EU/EEA, check with us before booking and we’ll confirm what applies in your case.

What if it takes longer and I’m late back?

Let us know on WhatsApp as soon as you see it coming. If the vehicle is free, we can almost always extend without any fuss.
