Coverage with deductible on the rental
When you rent a vehicle with BaoVans, you should know that our rates include, at no additional cost, THIRD-PARTY COVERAGE WITH DEDUCTIBLE, which will cover you in the event of an accident for damages caused to other vehicles and limit your responsibility for damages to the rented vehicle up to the maximum amount of the deductible. The deductible amounts depend on the type of vehicle and are always specified in the rental contract at the time of vehicle pickup.
If you wish to reduce the amount of the deductible and the deposit, you can contract our STG Coverage or Premium Coverage, depending on the vehicle type, to reduce the deductible and deposit to €0, as long as it is applicable to the rented vehicle.
The coverage does not cover damages caused by negligence or reckless driving, so the customer will be responsible for the proper use of the vehicle. Additionally, coverage excludes damages from non-fortuitous breakdowns, damages to transported goods, or their loss. For more details about the exclusions, you can check here.
Important: When you rent a vehicle with BaoVans, you must pay a deposit, which will be fully refunded at the end of the rental, provided there are no damages to the vehicle. This deposit must be paid with a credit card, never in cash. If you contract any of the coverages (STG or Premium), you can pay the deposit with a debit card.
